Ms. Jenn opened Jellybean Daycare in 1999. She started out in her home caring for 12 children. While she was in her home, she became nationally accredited and acquired her degree in early childhood. In 2011, she opened the center, which allows 55 children, their families, and 13 staff the opportunity to share their lives. She lives at home with her husband, an all around handy man, who helped make her dream of opening a center come true. She has 2 beautiful children, Kaitlyn (Kiki) and Jonathon (Bubby), and a sweet grandbaby, Nova. 


Julie has been working at Jellybean since it first opened. She loves working with the children and their families. In 2018, she received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband Jamie and her family and friends. She is a huge dog lover and likes to read, organize, go camping, listen to music, find all sorts of great stuff on Pinterest, and make "to do" lists.


Kiki is Co-Director of Jellybean, sharing responsibilities with Juju. She has been a part of Jellybean since it opened and loves every second. During her downtime, she loves hand lettering, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her husband and daughter, Nova. 


Alexis has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Monroe County Community College. She loves working with children because she thinks it is amazing how they learn, grow, and develop. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, Colton + Andy, and their dog, Arlo, traveling, horseback riding, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.


Letisia loves working with children, and has been working in child care for last 16 years (7 at Jellybean). She has a passion to help children grow and learn to be the best they can. Letisia is married to her husband Jared and they have 3 boys. Her favorite things to do are hang out with family, play a fun game of volleyball, go on adventures, live, laugh and love always. 


Melissa has been at Jellybean for almost 8 years. She has her Associates degree in Childcare Professionalism. When not at work, she loves spending time with her boyfriend and stepson, baking, and finding new outdoor adventures to go on. 


Logan has her CDA and Associates Degree as a Child Care Professional from WCC. She is transferring to EMU to finish her bachelors in Children & Families. Her long term goal is to have a center of her own. She loves working with children because she loves to watch them grow and learn. When not at work, she is spending time with her husband Jason and their dog, Duke. In her free time she enjoys walking with Duke, reading, crafting and spending time with her family.


Beth has 20+ years of experience working with children. She loves working with the children in all areas of the center and helping them grow.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends (including her cat, Chloe.)


Cheyenne is going on 4 years of working at Jellybean! She is thankful for all the time she has spent with children learning and growing. Cheyenne has her Bachelors degree in Business Management from Concordia University Ann Arbor, where she was a student athlete. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, working out, making quilts, and spending time at her house in northern Michigan.


Hayley is finishing her last year of college at Eastern Michigan University studying music therapy. Outside of Jellybean, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and finding new local places to eat. 


At a very young age, Karina knew she needed to work with children. She received her Associates in Early Childhood Education at Washtenaw Community College and transferred to Eastern Michigan University to get her BA. Along with a BA in Early Childhood Education, she recently began working towards her Psychology degree. In her free time, she likes to travel, spend time with family, and hike with her dogs! 


From a young age, Sam knew she wanted to be a teacher. After studying Early Childhood Education at MCC and Education at GVSU, she was inspired by the Reggio-Emilia approach to learning and has made it her goal to teach each unique child and their learning style. She is dedicated to keeping play as the center of learning and guiding the children to become their own individual. In her free time, Sam enjoys going on hikes with her husband and hanging out with friends and family, including their two cats Theo and Percy.

Lauren started working at Jellybean reading books in the library as her very first job when she was 16! She worked until she had to leave for college at GVSU where she’s studying to become a pediatric nurse. 5 years later and she still looks forward to when she gets to come home and work with all of her Jellybean friends during the summer! She’s known from a young age that she wants to work with kids, and working at Jellybean solidified that passion for her! When not at Jellybean, Lauren loves hiking, doing arts and crafts, cooking, and working out.

Paige is attending EMU with the goal to become a pharmacist. Although she is going into a medicinal career, she has always loved working with children! She is a very active person and loves soccer. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, hanging with family and friends, and relaxing.
